Our Story
Our passion is to promote safe aromatherapy practices and offer the best therapeutic products for your well-being.
Amy Jump-Long is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Clinical Aromatherapist with over 30 years of combined experience — but her path to natural healing began with her own. During a major transition in her life, while struggling with depression and severe anxiety, Amy turned to faith and prayer with a deep desire to heal herself naturally, rather than rely on medication.
A mentor introduced her to essential oils, and that first spark of curiosity came with a hard lesson: misguided on how to use them, she suffered a severe burn. Rather than walk away, she leaned in — determined to understand these powerful plant medicines and to use them safely.
Aromatherapy soon grew from an interest into a calling. Amy completed online training to become a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, which led her into massage therapy during her certification. Making her own products and learning hands-on, she saw firsthand the benefits of aromatherapy paired with massage — and knew she wanted to help others experience the same. Five years ago, she founded ReNurture Therapy to share the safe and effective use of essential oils.
Today, Amy is passionate about helping others discover what God has provided for us through plants — and about the responsibility that comes with it. Just because something is labeled “natural” doesn’t mean it can’t be toxic. Her training has led her to value GC/MS testing (Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry) to ensure the quality of essential oils — revealing the chemical constituents within each oil — and she uses only oils produced by manufacturers who report their GC/MS results.
She is a Level 3 member of NAHA (the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy) and the co-author of Scripture Scents: Essential Oils in the Bible, a book that explores the Biblical roots and spiritual significance of essential oils. A Certified SC Product maker, she has taught classes and workshops at Furman University’s OLLI program, the Carolina School of Massage, and throughout the community — on topics such as clean and green living, bath soaks, carrier oils, stress relief, and natural skin care.
Through teaching, handcrafted products, and a more natural way of living, Amy continues to share the healing gifts she believes God has given. Here is a wonderful resource on the safe use of essential oils.
